2008 stands to be an interesting year with the Presidential elections. So, we felt compelled to pass this blog entry from Itchmo.com. According to Itchmo.com :Presidential candidate factoids:
Out of 14 hopefuls, 9 presidential candidates currently have pets.
Only 2 have a cat and a dog.

Tom Tancredo:
Colorado Representative,
None: Unknown.
P.S. Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney strapped his Irish setter to the top of the car, on a 1983 family trip. He defends his actions and says the dog enjoyed it. The dog developed gastrointestinal distress from the 12 hour car ride, and managed to "let it loose" down the car's back window. If you ask me, that is a stupid decision to defend and pretty inhumane. You don't even want to know what PETA has to say about it.

Here is a PS to your PS about Mitt and his dog who was forced to ride on top of the car for 12 hours in his carrier. It was further reported, after the dog "let loose" down the exterior of the car, Mitt stopped at a station, and HOSED THE CAR OFF, AND HOSED OUT THE DOGS CARRIER WITH THE DOG STILL SITTING INSIDE IT ON TOP OF THE CAR. Then Mitt returned the hose and continued driving to his destination. HOW SADISTIC AND UNFEELING IS THAT? He said the dog "enjoyed it"??? How would he know that? Is he an animal psychic? Why didn't he strap one of his kids, or his wife to the top of the car instead? If it was not a good enough way for a human to ride, then it was not a good enough way for a pet to ride. And by the way...What the heck kind of name is MITT? Who names their kid MITT? Does he have a brother named Coaster or Trivet?
