A Netherlands pet store owner, Gerrie Berenden, has created a beer for dogs.After an annual hunting trip in Australia, Gerrie felt that dogs deserved the right to have a cold one after a long day. The beer is non-alcoholic and is brewed from beef extract and malt. At $2.15 a bottle — which is 4x the price of Heinkeken in the Netherlands — the owner says it is also tasty for humans. She commissioned a small local brewery named Schelde to brew the beer.
Kwispelbier, marketed as "a beer for your best friend", is sure to get your dogs tail waggin'!
